Ever notice that when you try to implement change you come across that person who is completely resistant? I have faced that repeatedly this month. I think that's why I feel so exhausted lately.

This group I am dealing with will talk and talk about how they want to improve and how they want to change for the better, then repeatedly as I do the task assigned to me, they throw up road blocks.

This is the crucial moment when I decide how I will take on those road blocks they throw up my way. I could do what I have done in the past and just say you know obviously you are resistant to these new changes so I will just step down. But this new position I am in affects many kids and I am unwilling to let them down.

So at this critical moment I can make a choice step down and let the status quo continue on or stay positive focus on the greater outcome and charge forward.
I chose the latter.

I decided to focus drawing in to this group more positive people, those who are truly ready to make a change, and are not willing to back down to a little resistance.

It is interesting to see how bringing in more like minded people is beginning to make a difference in this group. In a fairly short amount of time as well.

The other thing I began to do was to talk to everyone who I come in contact with who has anything to do with this group and talk about the great new changes we are implementing. These people got excited about the changes and started talking with even more people. All that talk started getting back to those who had been throwing up those road blocks.

Now those people who were resistant are now being persuaded to make these changes easier and be more supportive. Now instead of whining about how hard it is to change and saying it just isn't possible they are being shown it is and they aren't throwing up as many road blocks. It has been a true  battle of energies negative trying to over power the positive.

I chose to surround myself with the positive energies to keep my energy going forward. There was that moment of weakness though were I almost let that negative energy over power me it would have been easier, but I wouldn't have been true to myself if I had just given up.

I had to remember in this situation to surround my self with the positive energy of others that have the same intention, the same goals for an out come and all for the greater good.

I needed to remind myself and those negative energy people I have the  power to chose my outcome, Thank You Very Much!
